August Updates, Lions Gate Portal, Venus Star Point & Planetary Retrogrades
While I was out this week in nature, trying to balance my energies and receive some sunshine & solar codes, I spotted a flock of geese. This was not something that fully caught my attention till I later read in an article about the meaning of geese in terms of teamwork but more so about working together for a collective mission. Here’s a part that caught my attention:
“The Wawa Clan in southeast Nigeria uses the example of a Goose’s flock as a parable of sorts. When Geese fly in a “V” formation, the entire group can go much further than a single Goose because of the communal wing uplift. The lessons here are that a community can achieve more and in shorter times because they offer strength to each other.
The second lesson comes from the behavior of the lead Goose. When he tires, he goes to the back of the pack, and another Goose takes over.; this is very smart. Sharing that role means that one person does not suffer, and the whole still achieves their goals.
The honking of Geese from behind the leaders represents our communication and making sure we encourage rather than to command or intimidate.”
A beautiful message from the Holy Spirit and reminder this Lions Gate on leadership, specifically, in spiritual communities whereby I feel that each of our soul monad/collective group functions as a unit – where we share the role in leadership and encourage each other to achieve our collective goal. This is a very important theme I feel is coming forward this August.
That being said…
There are three key astrological highlights that are influencing the August energies this month which are: golden Christed frequencies coming in for the Lions Gate, the Venus Star point shifting from evening to morning star and several planetary Retrogrades which can slow down our focus, projects or overall movement but doing so to create more stability in our lives.
1- Lions Gate Portal: as mentioned in last month’s update, the Lions Gate stargate Portal opens every year when the Sun is conjunct to Sirius which started July 7th and typically is open throughout all of July and August. Sirius is another solar sun within our galaxy that brings in benevolent Christed frequencies to our planet. This can come in as downloads, revelations, miracle healings or abundance. The theme this year I feel relates to downloads in creating new energy work or healing modality approaches so that they can be applied to all people equally. Also, it is bringing up the importance of our soul monad/collective group work in terms of equal leadership.
Sirius is also ruled by a High Judicial Council of Guardians serving the Living God in higher dimensions who oversee how Divine Justice is carried out in many planetary systems including Earth. This year I feel that many timelines, old karmic or soul contracts and other types of entanglements we may have experienced is coming to a closure as directed by God’s High Angelic or Judicial Councils. Trust that support is coming through for many to complete old cycles or old energetic healing practises and bringing in true soul family connections and group work.
Furthermore, the 8-8 portal day is bringing forth auspicious developments for Divine Union and soul family connections. The 8-8 portal day numerologically is a symbol of the infinity sequence, which is harmony (masculine-feminine), heaven on earth, abundance and balance of our mind-heart connection to make better decisions that serve the whole of humanity. Are your relationships helping you serve God/Divine will and the Law of One? Are you and your soul group allowing leadership positions to be interchangeable as necessary?
From August 21-23, the Sun will conjunct the Royal Star Regulus, the biggest star in the Leo constallation, which will be a pinnacle point of blessings, deliverance and radiance shining down on humanity to remember our royal, divine and powerful nature to overcome all darkness. This may be seen as a pinnacle or conclusion of the Lions Gate Portal if we apply the lessons or initiations listed (in this article) without pride.
2- Venus Star Point/Retrograde: On August 13th the Sun will be conjunct to Venus the planet of love & money. Venus has been Retrograde in Leo since July, and she will change into the sign of Cancer. Venus Retrogrades are notorious for bringing up old love connections asking us if these connections still align with our new values. First, Venus Star Point moves from being an evening star (where we focus more internally, reflect and heal love/money themes in our inner world the last few months) to being a morning star (where we focus on what we worked through internally over the last few months (values&integrity) to express & take conscious actions on these new values more externally with others).
Secondly, Venus will be moving from the more creative, fiery & bold sign of Leo into the nurturing, emotional and relational sign of Cancer which means we will also be re-evaluating how we nurture our more close relationships. Venus is asking us to focus our attention to our past relationships whether lovers, family, friends and if they are still aligned with our new soul contract or timeline or not. Cancer is an emotive sign and so this can translate into deeper, more authentic intimate conversations or reconciliation. How do you feel? Are you expressing your true feelings? If not, then you need to re-evaluate that relationship in order to mirror your true values.
3- Planetary Retrogrades August 23 & 28th: We have several planets now moving Retrograde (Pluto, Saturn, Venus, Neptune and Chiron) and to add Mercury in Virgo will move Retrograde August 23rd (in pre-shadow now), Uranus Retrograde August 28th and Jupiter Sept 4th.
Towards the end of the month of August, these Retrogrades mean a stabilization in the fields, less movement or changes for new projects but a time to anchor all the changes or downloads we received through the summer solstice and Lions Gate Portal energies. Mercury is one of Virgos rulers, so we may have alot of mental energies (ideas, conversations, projects) to look over, to pay attention to details and integrate into our lives. A great time to journal, share ideas with others or to simply rest (embody).
We also have two Full Moons in August, the first was a Supermoon in Aquarius August 1st, that asked us to show up as our unique and authentic selves and to take conscious actions in humanitarian or social work activities. On August 30th, we also have a SuperMoon in Pisces that may reveal how we deny our unity, oneness and interconnectivity with others. Lunar energies reverse what the Solar Christed energies want to bring in, and so as I mentioned above, the Lions Gate Portal wants us to receive new downloads, ideas, projects, that help serve the greater good or Divine will for humanity and for spiritual practitioners this can look like new types of healing modalities that can be applied for all (Pisces) equally (Aquarius), not just a selected few or if it “resonates”. True freedom, compassion and divine love is about universal applicability & shared leadership.
Just like the geese, who flock to ensure their path is focused on their shared goal, so too is our ability to allow for shared leadership within our groups.
This August overall can be a heart opening and heart healing experience in order to help us connect with our true beloveds, partners, soul family and Divine friendships and allow for leadership roles to be mutable within our group dynamics.
